Q: How does it work?
A: The GhostBlind® Predator mirror the ground in front of the blind; approximately 6-8' out from the base of the blind. See Videos for real life examples.
Q: Does the GhostBlind® reflect the sun? (This is our most frequently asked question)
A: The design angles of the mirrors can only reflect the sun to the ground. When set up, the panels are always angled forward eliminating the possibility of the sun reflecting back to game.
Many of the pictures and videos you see on this site are in the direct sunlight, with the sun facing the mirror panels. If you set up the blind on a slope or hill, as with any ground blind, you should not set it at the top of the hill as this will cause sillouitting. If you move down the hill a little, the blind will set up with the angle of the slope, thereby eliminating the sun reflecting back to the game. See illustration.
Q: Can game see itself in the mirror panels?
A: No - unless the game gets within 3' - 5' of the blind before you shoot.
Q: Won't the sun reflect off of the blind when carrying in the woods and spook game?
A: No - the GhostBlind® folds with all mirror panels to the inside, with camouflage fabric showing on the outside. It is impossible for the blind to reflect sunlight while in a folded position. We have also taken great care to use all hardware and fasteners that do not reflect the sun.
Q: Can the mirrors be damaged when carrying or transporting the blind?
A: All mirrors are folded to the inside and protected when transporting. The mirrors are lightweight, flexible and unbreakable. The reflective panels may eventually have small scratches and pits which is to be expected. These marks will not reduce the effectiveness of your blind. Game will never see these marks.

A: The latest version of the GhostBlind® Predator only weighs 12lbs

A: The GhostBlind® Predator is 102" wide and 46" high
Q: Is the blind hard to carry?
A: It is very easy to carry with an included shoulder strap. We have an optional bag that is custom fit to the blind that has a "Total Gear Carry System®" where you can attach all of your gear including, back pack, chair and more. See Total Gear Carry System®.
Q: Does the blind hit the back of your legs when carrying?
A: No - The shoulder harnesses on the optional bag are adjustable to fit any size hunter.
Q: Can the blind get wet?
A: Yes - The reflective panels and backside vinyl are water resistant. We highly recommend the blind should be dried out after hunting to eliminate mildew. See instructions
Q: Can I leave the blind out overnight?
A: No - we do not recommend you leave your blind outside overnight because of excessive moisture and condensation. The GhostBlind® is water resistant, not water proof and should be dried out after use.
Q: Can I fasten my backpack and chair to the blind when carrying?
A: Our standard blind includes a shoulder strap and bungee cords that hold the blind closed whild carrying. The optional bag and "Total Gear Carry System®" is designed to easily attach all your gear with the included straps and hardware.

This carry system
allows you to comfortably carry all of your hunting gear on your back.

Q: Is it ok to leave the blind in my car or truck in the hot sun?
A; Yes - special care should be taken to lay your GhostBlind® flat in your car or truck to keep from warping the panels in the extreme heat. If the panels should become warped, you can simply lay it flat for a period of time to straighten the panels.
Q: How should I store my blind?
A: Hang your GhostBlind® vertically through the observation ports. See instructions
Q: How do I clean my blind?
A: When cleaning the mirror panels do not use paper towels as they will scratch the mirrors. A soft cloth works best with water rather than a chemical cleaner that may spook game due to the smell. If your blind gets muddy, simply hose it off anddry with a cloth.
Q: Will the wind blow the blind over?
A: No - use the included tent stakes and string to secure to the ground. See Instructions
Q: How can I see game without being detected?
A: When viewing game at a distance you can peer over the top of the blind without being detected. Use the observation ports when game is in close proximity.
